Once again the WFCC Regatta in Wilmette is on!

Followed by the party, live music, great food, terrific drinks (open bar),
and a cool raffle at The Lawn at Wilmette Golf Club

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Take an Uber… Or Take the Shuttle!

Walk or ride your bike to Wilmette Train Station and Take the Bus

Starting at 4 pm a bus will run every 15-20 minutes from the
Wilmette Train Station to the Regatta at Gillson Park
(near the dog beach).

Then around 6:30 pm the bus will depart from the beach for The Lawn, making a stop at the Wilmette Train Station on the way.

From approximately 7:30 pm until 12 am the bus will run to and from the Wilmette Train Station and The Lawn every 20-30 minutes.

Grab a partner and join the race.

Northwest Passage and Sheridan Shores Sailing School are sponsoring a tandem kayak race in Wilmette Harbor at 6:30pm.

All boats and equipment will be provided by Northwest Passage. All you need to do is register and show up with your teammate.

(Boat Registration is $100 per team)

The top two race finishers will receive a free 2 Hour Chicago Day Kayaking Adventure for 2 with Northwest Passage (valued at $140 each).

The first place winner will be memorialized on the WFCC Regatta Trophy and have the privilege of directing race proceeds to the Lurie Children's program of their choice.

Immediately following the regatta, please join us at Wilmette Harbor Club for drinks, a pig roast, and live music featuring Chris Karabas and back by popular demand Fern the Experience funk band.

All additional donations will automatically be entered to win raffle prizes including gift cards from local Wilmette businesses and exciting experiences with Brock Blazo.

Sheridan Shores Sailing School is donating their time, equipment, and expertise to conduct the harbor kayak race on our behalf. SSSS is a 501(c)(3) which actively supports educational opportunities for underprivileged and at-risk youth. SSSS is a certified US Sailing center and was just named a Siebel Center. The Siebel Sailors Program, in partnership with US Sailing, will provide increased access to sailing for youth, regardless of socio-economic background, at community sailing centers across the country.

The Regatta

Transportation to the Regatta leaving from the Wilmette Metra Station will begin at 4pm. Party shuttles will leave from race and the Metra Station every 20-30 minutes starting around 6:30pm heading to The Lawn at Wilmette Golf Club.

The Party

Post Race Party with food and drinks will be provided by The Lawn at Wilmette Golf Club.

Transportation from the lakefront and the Wilmette Metra station to The Lawn will run every 20-30 minutes starting at 7pm. Shuttles back to the Metra station start at 9pm and will run until midnight from the Wilmette Golf Club.
